• Spark Plugs NGK, Champion

Anyone else running the rn6yc Champions in their watercraft? I have used these plugs in a 1996 SLT780 (about the last 100 hours of the total 136) and my 1999 SLTX (last 30 hours of the total 78). Seems all of the auto parts stores want a special order charge for the NGK BPR8ES plugs. Bike shops think that the NGK 's are made of gold and charge accordingly. 3-4 bucks vs. 1 dollar for the Champions. HHHHMMMM?? Reading the resistor value on new plugs I have found the following: Champions ~30k ohms, NGK~5-6k ohms. Both seem identical with "on the water" performance. Any comments

Stick with NGK. There is a reason ALL the pros use them.

I don't know where you are shopping, but they are normal price everywhere on the web. $1.99 ea. here at Parker Yamaha, and you can order by the case and save even more.
