• Is this normal?

I own a 99 SLTH if you couldn't tell from my name. I bought it right from the showroom floor last year so I am the original owner. It seems to have dropped a couple miles an hour on the top end and has a little rougher idle than before.
Just curious if there is anything I can do or I am not doing correctly. It has about 42hours on it if that helps.
Thanks!!

Check your sparkplugs. Make sure the color is OK on them. I had to do some fine tune jetting to make mine run better (after break in). My SLH was delivered to me a little on the rich side.

Take a good look at your impeller and the stator vanes- a big nick on the impeller can cause vibration and loss of top end, and eroded vanes can cause a loss of top end. You can sometimes see impeller damage through the intake grate and through the nozzle with a flashlight, but a good look requires removing the stator.
