96 SL900 runs ruff

when i start the ski the red light flashes but no display to show me,then my rpms are around 3500 if i can even get to that. any ideas,please help. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

The red light is supposed to flash a few times imediately after starting- this tells you the circuit is working.
RPM problem sounds like a dead cylinder. Check your spark plugs first, make sure they are firing. Next check cylinder compression.
