fuel/water bowl

Thanks for the input on my other questions guys this site is very helpfull.Another question now.I was riding the lake the other day and there was a least 30 jetskiers and a couple of boats on the lake it was pretty choppy my fuel water bowl would fill up with water after riding hard for twenty mins. or so and would have to empty it or would stall my tank is holding pressure because i remove the cap and it depressureizes so i dont think its leaking.Tha cap and filler neck are new what would make the fuel bowl fill up with water so quikly.My carbs are rejetted and stock heads milled to .15 can i put a performance water box on with only these mods done i was told by another skier i would lose 3 to 6 hp. my ski is a 95 sl650 polaris

About the only place it can come in is the filler neck or cap - recheck them.
