I had to replace the crankshaft on my 1999 Genesis after 40 hours of riding. I installed a new crankshaft and gasket kit from SBT last summer. I broke in the motor as posted on SBT website. The next time I rode the ski it would only run about 30 MPH. Any help would be appreciated.

It's probably not firing on one cylinder. Try new plugs, feel each cylinder to see which isn't firing, try sniping your plug wires back 1/4", verify the carbs aren't flooding on that cylinder, take a compression check, etc.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

I checked the sparks plugs, I believe I'm firing on all plugs. I can only get a little over 5000 RPM. To me it almost acts like the high speed jet needs to be adjusted, but I can't find it. I have a 1999 polaris genesis 1200. Do I need to rebuild the carbs or do I have a vacuum leak.
When I replaced the crankshaft I removed the oil pump and now premix the gas. Any help is very much appreciatedComment

No adjustment should be needed. Did you pressure check the engine after you assembled it? It's possible you have an air leak. You can idle the engine, and use a propane canister with a rubber tube to check. Run the end of the tube along all the seams - if you have a leak the RPMs will jump.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

Sounds like there is something definately wrong in the fuel system. Try checking the pop-off pressure. They have a habit of having bad needles and seats.
