I think I'm getting closer to finding out why my 92 SP dies 15-30 seconds after starting (repeatedly). I have it narrowed down to the Safety Lanyard Switch. This is after extensive carburator rebuild, fuel line replacements and fuel valve work. Is there a way to bypass the safety switch so I can see if that is my problem. If so, please describe what steps are necessary. Thanks for all the help so far. Tony

Re: I think I'm getting closer
Have you looked at the little rubber pads on the hood that sometimes block the fuel vent line on that model of Sea Doo? You can tell if the holes do not line up by looking at them. If the vent line is blocked, it will run out of fuel every few moments of operation. Use your fingernail to rip a chunk of the rubber away so the fuel tank can breathe.Bill O'Neal, owner of Watercraft Magic in Glendora California, www.watercraftmagic.com
