As a note, you should always replace Seadoo gaskets when working on the ski. Very rarely does a gasket get re-used.
Seadoo specifies the oil they WANT you to run because it's their OIL (well, rebranded Castrol). They make $$ off of it. Same as Yamalube does for Yamaha's. On your 951, you need to run synthetic. The standard mineral oil will NOT work because of the raves.
Amsoil, Dumande, Seadoo are the only ones that will touch any motor of mine that is 951 or higher.
