Hi all,
I own a 2004 GTX 4-Tec with 26 hours on the clock. When I began warmup at idol I noticed that the engine sounded rough and RPM's were very up and down. every 7 seconds or so the RPM's would go from 1700 to about 2200, and continuned for my 10 minute warm up period.
After about 10 minutes of this I decided to take it for a spin to see if it might have been a choke (or similar) problem but the seadoo had absolutly no power and only reached 5800 RPMs, with no alarms or lights showing up on my ski.
I took the ski to the mechanic and he replaced Ignition Coil #3 as this was the only thing that showed up as an alarm.
I took the ski out yesterday and it still has the same problem. The ski iis now back at the mechanics
The ski has never been rolled or taken water and only has 26 hours on the clock and as you can imagine I am really disapointed with the ski
If anyone else has had a similar experience or might know what the problem could be, please let me know.
Summer has just hit Down Under and by the looks of things I will be confined to the sand this summer :(
