  • Taking the ski out next month, what do i need to do?

What do i need to do to de winterize it?
What I have done is grease both fittings on the driveshaft and zerk fitting, fogging oil, had the battery on trickle charge.

Do I need to change the oil filter, furl filter? and jet pump oil? Also should I run some fogging oil thru the spark plug holes again?

Yes, do all of that and certainly change the pump oil and put the fogging oil in through the sparkarresstor ( it has a rubber plug you remove to squirt the oil through) when the engine is running. Spraying down the sparkplug holes is of little value at all.
If it freezes where you are, put anti-freeze in it.

I think there is an artical on this website about winterizing.......

Bill the post is confusing.. I think he is talking about "de-winterizing", bringing the beast out of her winter sleep.

        Yeah I see that now..

You do not need to change oil and filters, unless they did not change them when you winterizied it. This should be done when it gets winterized.

No need to re-fog it to get it going again. Might want to put in a new battery though.

where is the sparkarresstor located at on my ski? and just use fogging oil? And no the oil and filter was not changed when I winterized it myself. Is this okay? I will do it before I take it out? I dont need to change the oil? just the filter right?

The sparkarrestor, also known as a flame arrestor or F/A, should be located on the starboard (right) side of the engine. It is a black box about 10 in long. Semiround at the top. In the middle of that cover, there will be a little rubber nipple or plug. Remove that and spray in there. But...

If your taking her out to the lake ir sea, dont' fog it. Fogging is for storage. You can put a "little" oil in the cyls to make sure they are lubed up for first crank over though. She'll smoke a bit more than normal for the first few minutes.

You don't need to change you oil, just the filter. Make sure you have plenty of oil in the resivoir for your trip though.
