  • 787 problem

i have a 98 challenger 1800 with twin 787s. i had a rod bearing to freez up on me with no warning. i was running along and the motor just quit. ipulled the motor and tore it down as far as i could , the piston is burned as well as the rod frozen to the crank. there dosent appear to be any scoring of the cylinder. what causes this problem, how can i prevent it,and what is my best course of action

The only course of action is rebuild the motor and the carbs, them make sure the oil injection system is functioning properly.
