Can someone verify how the supply and returns lines should be connected for a 95 xp dual carb? I've attached a pic, this is from the carb side, looking down, my thumb is on the return line...

Re: 95 Xp 717, Fuel line routing dual carbs
I rebuilt my carbs, but the PTO carb is acting funny, doesn't seem like it's gving any fuel at low speeds. I was hoping I just had the hoses wrong. Guess I'll have to re-rebuild that carb again. The pop-off was good, maybe there's something stuck in the low speed jet?

Re: 95 Xp 717, Fuel line routing dual carbs
Parrot,
Here's a picture that I took of my carbs before I rebuilt them and replaced the fuel lines. My ski is a 96 SPX 717 with dual carbs as well. Same vantage point as the picture that you posted. I'm a sales guy and not a mechanic, but maybe, the two lines on the right are crossed? Good Luck!

Re: 95 Xp 717, Fuel line routing dual carbs
dundeels,
Thats how had the fuel lines setup after the rebuild, but after looking at the arrows on the carbs I crossed them, on your picture you have the 2 IN arrows connected together, I thought you should have 1 IN connected to 1 OUT, guess I'll switch them back and see what happends.
Bill, I did use carb cleaner and compressed air, maybe I missed something, do the hoses in dundeels pic look right?

Parrothd,
Yes they are correct in his picture.
The two bottom fuel line fittings on each carb are connected together and the two top fittings are connected together to the return line Y .
The fuel line "in" is on the other side lower fitting, feeding the fuel pump.Bill O'Neal <br>
