  • 2000 GTI sea-doo with no thrust

I'm a first time jet ski owner..purchased a GTI bout a month ago..put it in the water yesterday for the first time, it started up but when I hit the throttle it revved up but went nowhere...lucky I didn't get too far away from the boat ramp...any idea what I can check?

Things that cause a ski to not accellerate:
      Bent impellor
      Bad wear ring
      pump to support plate seal
      ride shoe needs resealing
Stripped out driveshaft. impellor or pto splines.
Air sucking from inside of the hull through the driveshaft seal ( usually accompanied by a water leak into the hull through the driveshaft seal when sitting still in the water)

One or more of those items needs fixing.
