        I agree, too high.
I would think between $500 to $1000 too high each.
Check NADA for their idea on values. Also check boattrader and local papers to see what skis are selling for in your area.
Unfortunatly your timing is a little off. The best time to buy used skis is January and February. Right now the weather is getting nice and lots of people are starting to think of buying so prices will be up some. Good luck with your hunt.

if you can do your own work find a blown ski and fix it you will save a lot of money .

the 96GTX would be a good deal { if clean with low hrs } around 3k they still hold there value when there kept up .

I would say for that price range you could get any good 95 -96 ski on seadoo. I personally love my 95 xp with a 720 in it. If you want it for family outings then go with a GTS or GTX. What are you wanting to ride it for fun and exctitment or family riding cruising? We could then gicve you some insight from there based on how you are wanting to ride.

$2500 for the 96 gtx and out of the three your choosing, I'd get that one. The others are a bit underpowered, but fun factor is there. With the 3 seater you can still do fun stuff and take a 2nd person with you easily.

Re: Brand New Here, Please Help...

thanks for all the quick replies...i am wanting to have riding times such as :
pulling a tube with 1-2 people on it
me and my girl will ride on it together
always be 2 of us riding and sometimes 2 of us pulling a tube...
i love to go fast, turn quick, do water donuts, and just have a blast, i am NOT the putting around type

I agree, for your use a 3 seater will be best. The GTX is a real nice ski. I still think that the '96 is priced too high. Last summer, in August, we bought a '99 GTXL with low hours in primo condition for $3500.00. It did not come with a trailer but they can be bought used for $300 - $400. On the plus side it does have the 951 motor which is 160hp. It does VERY well with 2 big adults and pulling a skier, is fun enough to throw around and will get close to 60 mph. It's also a very comfortable and dry ride if you just use it for cruising around.

Go with the GTX. I have a 97 and the skis are very similar. It is easy to maitain and can pull a tuber no problems. It hesitated for a sec when I was pulling a 200 pound salom skier but after that it pulled him right up. I payed 3k for my ski so that or a little less would be a good deal if its clean and working.
