i think the single carb 587 was 55hp ? you can do some very cheep { good mods} since you can get most of what you need off ebay or salvage yards . is it worth it { only you can say if it is } i loved my 90sp it was fast and never broke down in the 4 yrs i ran it , had np keeping up with GP800s and was way more fun in the surf since it was light .

Chris you may be right but on my title for my single carb 587 GTS it says or is classified as a 60 HP motor. Thats what I was going by.

I'm in the middle of getting the Watercraft Magic store up and running. For now you can call them, they have whatever you need: www.watercraftmagic.com

i read in another post that it is really not worth the money to do. all i really want is maybe a better prop and exhaust. just to make it alil more faster on the acc or top end but like i said it is more money than it is worth ill just wait til this motor goes bad(brand new bought from sbt less than a year ago) then maybe put a bigger one in if possible or just by a new ski all together

                    Re: 587 white info

'Worth it' is a relative term. I had a '96 SP and it was fun stock. I put a better intake grate and a rear bording handle on it - but anything more would have been a waste of money to me. I ended up selling it for a better model when my GF needed more power.

No we don't sell any stock components to get a larger engine package in there. If you want a larger engine, sell it.

Jake you also would not be able to send your motor to sbt to get a bigger motor.
