  • 97 XP 787 Engine. Bog/Stumble/Hesitate

Recently rebuilt my 787 Engine and carbs. Went to the lake 2day and ran her. I got first tank of premix in also oil pump working. I am having a problem at 1/4 -1/3 throttle. It'll runs but it's boggy (pops, stumbles, Can stall out too). That occurs if I run at that speed. If I punch it NO problem just goes like hell. At 1/2 to WOT throttle runs great, Idle's fine too. I have turned the low speed screws in to 1 1/2 all the way to 3 turns out. Seems least offensive at 2 turns. (Never goes away however). I have not checked plugs yet. I am not sure if it's too soon to adjust (due to premix break-in) High speed screws are at 0. I still have the air box off if that matters. What could cause this stumble?

set the carbs to the factory setting , run though your premix then change your plugs , see how it runs then .

Just for kicks, snip the plug wires too.
