  • L Temp & E Temp

I bought a 97 GTX and it has a 787 engine in it and I haven't had a chance to get an owners manual for it yet. After cycling through the modes on the gauges I see L Temp=89 and E Temp=102. What are those referring to and what is the recommended operating range?

        Thanks for the reply.
Wow....are you kidding me or what?

Land?....These don't run on land, why would Sea Doo do that to us? Does it equate to the outside air temp? Where is the sensor located for that?

They stand for Lake and External.

Jeez, all these years I've been walking outside to gauge external temp and sticking a toe in the water to gauge lake temp. I shuda had a Sea Doo!

                Okay, great news thanks.
Looks like they're nothing to do with the engine so I really don't have to worry about them down here.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty funny that it stands for Lake when it's called a SEA DOO!
