rave valves

I hope someone can help me. I just cleaned my valves in my 97 GTX Seadoo and i was wondering how do i reset the caps that you can screw out and screw in? Should i have them all the way in, all the way out or somewhere in the middle?

The service manuel says flush with the black plastic ring around it, but you can adjust it to user preferance later.

Hi the manual says red caps flush with the top BUT if you want more power on the lower revs range screw them to where your happy.
