:emoticonc rebuilding my 580 on 93 gtx
I purchased this seized 93 seadoo gtx
I did the top end and only got 5 hours out of the pistons to heavy scoring.
what would case this? Since this I have rebuilt the top end again and have
run it up for about 30 seconds.
I was thinking maybe going to a Mixed gas with a oil block off system or can it be something else. i never bench tested the oil pump. I orginally repaired all the Oil lines that were cracked thinking this was the problem originally
Also what about any debree if there is any in the crankcase and do I have to split the case to clean it out or is there another way to do this....
    Thanks -Mike-

Yes you need to split the cases and clean them out even if you only need to rebuild the top end there is no tellig what dropped down into the crankcase and you need to get all that cleaned out and check the crank and such anyway it could be a bad crank that is causing your pistons to slap around in the cylinders and mess things up.
