92 gts 580 2 year old sbt engine.Will only pull 6230 rpms.140 compression on both cylinders.Rebuilt carb.with pop off presure set.New ignition coil.Which elimated a high speed miss.Plugs are chocolate brown.Only problem that I can think of is minor damage to the pump stator vanes.

any damage to the pump or its parts will cause you problems on performance you may want to get to looking at the pump and impeller to determine the exact amount of damage you have in there. my .02 anyway.
