Re: VTS Not work on my xpl
first check the fuses , pull the cover off the VTS box if you see a water line its bad . best to buy them new but if you must check ebay . if you replace it make sure you do not use hose clamps on the rubber boot ,, zipties or the plastic clamps from Doo . also a new boot if its more then 2 yrs old . they will dry rot .PRIDE IN SERVICE

Re: VTS Not work on my xpl
You can detirmine if the motor is bad or the VTS housing assembly is bad by testing the motor only. Connect a positive and a negative wire to the wire connections on the motor. If it is good it will move the motor gear easily. If it drags too much, it will blow a 7.5 amp fuse.
If the motor checks out ok, just buy a new VTS housing assembly and install your motor into it.
That stupid little VTS motor costs $133.00 so check it.Bill O'Neal
Re: VTS Not work on my xpl
Bill, I hooked a power source up to the two leads off the motor like you said and it moved perfectly in both directions, no hesitation or anything. Does this mean my circuit board is bad and where is the best place to get one??? Just from a dealer??? Thanks man
