  • 720 Rotary timing

Hi again. I notice the stock timing for the valve is 147 in the tech articles. I see a 159 valve for sale in the 720 engine parts for sale area. Whats the difference?

I assume I should stay with the 147 timing and stock oem valve for normal cruising ?

    Thanks, Joe

The size of the vavle is not the same as the timing point of the valve. 159 is the SIZE of the valve, and it's TIMED to 147.

Thank you for the reply. Just the degree sign next to the 159 threw me off.

There's nothing wrong with the degree sign after 159. The cutout size of the valve is 159 degrees.
