Re: spi
If you have a huge amount of oil( ie fresh unburned oil, not a little sludge) then your innner crankshaft seals are bad. This would require a new or rebuilt crank to fix. If it isnt that bad, ( if it had been sitting for months this time and it was the first time you noticed it) you might be able to let it go for a while, just blow out the cylinders of oil before you start it after sitting a while.

Re: spi
I am writing about the problem on a 1994 Seadoo SP with 587 Rotax 2-cycle engine. I am having same problem as the last guy. The ski was running when last used back last fall, 2006. The engine has trouble turning over with the spark plugs in. When they are out, the engine turns over just fin. It sounds like a valve intake/exhaust might be stuck close. That is just a guess. any ideas????
