  • SBT Block off kit

Just finished pulling carbs on my 96 GSX and rebuilding using the SBT kit. Went very smoothly, particularly after watching the video online (thanks guys). I'm installing an SBT block off kit as well (10 years and 200 hours on the oil pump making me nervous). No problems here except there is nothing in the kit to block the large oil line that travels from the tank to the pump??? Can I just clip the line near the tank and plug it with a bolt and a zip tie?

Also, I've left the other 2 (gravity fed) oil lines untouched and I'm assuming the low oil sensor in the tank will continue to work thus warning me when the crank case oil needs attention..... ( I visually inspect before each ride anyway, so it's merely a back -up)

    Thanks in advance!

Ah, yes... the .pdf file is the same one that shipped with the kit. I've read both of them. Show me where it addresses the oil line to the pump.
      Thanks!

SORRY - I completely misread your question!

For the line to the pump, you can simply fold it over and zip tie it, or yes put a bolt in it and zip tie it.
