Sealant Cross-ref

SeaDoo recommends the following products when servicing the jet pump on my GTX. Loctite #518 which is the flange sealant and Loctite #592 PST which is the thread sealant. Does anything else work well? The only place I can find these items is industrial supply houses and they only have large containers. Is there a Permatex product that works or another item that an auto parts store may carry?

Check with one of the larger bearing and PT supply places in your area...They will carry smaller containers of it.

I buy both at NAPA Auto Parts. Look on the shelf that has the permetex products.

The Loc tite is just generic blue loc-tite.
515 or 518 works on the cone oring and filler plug.
