  • Testing Oil Pump???

Is there any way that you can test an oil pump, i would rather not go pre-mix for sake of laziness. I have been pre-mixing and i have burned about 1/8 tank of oil per 3 tanks of gas since i have started riding the ski again... Is the oil pump arm supposed to point up or down when at idle??

the arm will be down , you can hook a drill to the pump and put the line in some oil make sure it pumps even from both holes and faster as you move the arm , if its on the ski still blow the oil lines out and avance to full on and watch the oil move though the lines at a even pace .

Don't forget to prime the pump using the bleeder screw or it will just cavatate and not pump oil.
