Hi,
My MPEM is most likely blown. It blows the 5A fuse when connecting the 4-pin magneto contact. I measure +12V on three of four pins (even ground!) on the other side disconnected, so that's why i consider my MPEM dead.
I think the cause was a loose battery connection.
This might happen again, since you can't secure a stable connection to 100%.
It would be nice to hear what others have done to prevent this. I am not willing to buy this unit one more time. A big capacitor maybe?
Best,
Rikard
