  • mity vac instead of pop off pressure tester?

couldnt find one for sale anywhere in town, but plenty of places sell mity vacs. Since the mity vac can be used to pressure test the pump, can't it be used for the carbs as well? and...if i reuse the same spring, should the pop off pressure be okay, as long as the n&S are in good shape?

    thanks!

standard might-vac pumps only pump up to 12psi. Read the package before you buy one.

hmm, the only mity vacs, their guages only read in vacuum. If i set it up for the pressure side, the guage won't register anything. Will a vacuum test provide the same results as a pressure test? The guage reads up to 1 atmosphere (14.7psi or 30in.hg)

          thanks!
