95 sp wear ring

do i hvae to remove the impeller to replace the wear ring , also can i just remove the pump , replace the ring and then remount the pump or will ihave to realign every thing is the a link i can go to for step by step?

you need to remover the prop and cut the ring out press it back in reinstall the prop fill pump with oil presser test it then if all good put the pump back on . if theres shims under the pump bolts remember where thats about it .

will the shaft just come out after i remove the pump bolts and free pump from hull or is more to remove

ok what is the trick on getting the pump off the hull?

make sure you have removed the lines inside the hull for the vanes also take a wonder bar and pry the ears on the pump to unseal the sealant used to hold it on.

got pump off, when cutting off wear ring do i cut the nylon also or just the rubber?
