  • 2 questions on 98 GSX Ltd

Ive been using Bombardier Synthetic Two-Stroke Oil all my life in my Seadoo GSX Limited n i was wondering if it would damage the engine if i put regular two-stroke the cheaper kind non synthetic oil in my ski...

and also i was wonderin does it hurt the engine if put 97 octane in a 951 gsx ltd.

one more thing somebody told my mix a little bit of the bomb.syn.2stroke oil in the gas??? has nebody heard nething about doing this???

i jus want the best and fastest thing for my jetski...im a man thats about speed...;)

Re: 2 questions on 98 GSX Ltd

Cheaper oil and better than needed gasoline. Why?
If your ski has worked well "all your life" with the proper oil in it, why change now?
Running higher than needed octane will actually slow your ski, not make it faster. Octane is about controlling detonation, not making speed.

Re: 2 questions on 98 GSX Ltd

I really dont need to change oil but the cost of the oil making me mad... ive been looking for my next ski to be 4stroke and ive been looking at the rxp but i dont know if seadoo is going to come out with something bigger and badder for next year models... so, Bill or nebody do you think seadoo is going to come out with a faster/more HP for next year because im thinkin of buying an rxp at the end of the season so i can get a good deal....

No, I think it will be a few years before they build skis that will break your neck sooner than the RXP will. It depends upon how many lawsuits BRP is forced to pay out for over the next few years.
