buying 1995 seadoo hx???

My friend has a 1989 kawasaki 650sx and they are reallly fun, and i saw a 1995 sea doo hx in the paper for 2000 with all kinds of performace parts and accessories, i guess what im trying to say is what are the pros and cons of the 95 S.D HX. I am almost 18 and 165lb about 5'7''..is this the right ski for me if not what is

its not a matter of your size its a mtter of your experience the HX is a tricky ski to ride and if you fall off it is a tricky ski to get back up on. But it is a really really fun ski to have.

Ive only ridden that 89 kawasaki 650 stand up ski...i am pretty good at riding that, and im looking for a cheap (up to like 3,000) ski that would be fun

if you are good at the stand up youll be able to handle the Hx and it is a fun ski.But then again so is a 95-97 XP that you could find for that kind of money. The 95 will have the power you are used to on the 650 and the 96-97 will have much more power than the 650 Kaw

I just sold my HX. The most fun ski I have ever ridden. My wife is the reason I sold it as she wanted to be able to ride either. The HX was too fast, 65 MPH, and unstable.

The 720 engine is great though.

if that ski is modded there is a good chance it has the factory pipe or one similar..
that engine wakes up with a pipe and will beat just about any ski off the line up untill around 60 then the others catch up..

the best ski ever made in my opinion.. . one of the only "sit down skis that you always find your self standing up and actually dunking the entire ski under the water like a dolphin...after a hard turn..

The HX is the only ski for me. I`ll never completely master it, never get bored with it, and can`t get enough of them. Looking for a carbon fiber bullet hull to add to the stable...

The HX is a really fun/wet ride, if you like riding a stand-up you'll like the ski. I have both a HX and XP, the xp isn't as fun to ride anymore, feels like your on a big hover craft floating around, where as the HX is on rails, the reboarding is a little tricky, but once you get it down it's easy..

The HX was one of my 12 SD,s. Its a great ski BUT if you can,t Master the Power On Side Mount in deep water you Won,t Keep it Long. I couldn,t and sold it Soon.
