if anyone knows the answer ?

in the past few years i have had a few people complain about there skis not turning somtimes , differnt skis all people know how to ride and have owned the skis for well over a yr . they say there riding along and go to turn and the ski is very lazy turning and some feel like they rode over somthing . its not all the time just now and then . one guy had a 97xp and ended up in the marsh a few times lol . i have never found anything to be wrong with the skis and could never get the skis to not steer ? i hate not having an answer for somone :-( the latest is a guy who has a RXDI he got it new and at the end of last year it started doing this also . BESIDES the steering and ride plate does anyone have a clue ?

Yes, this is common with the 1997 and later XP type hulls. To turn it at lower speeds, you need the nozzel pointed down and you need to apply some trhottle and lean with the turn. It can be a bit scary if you are not used to it.
