92 seadoo sp no full throttle

my 92 seadoo sp will idle and thats about it,when you open it up,its like shutting a key off and on about evry 2 seconds---help

Is it running out of gas when you try to rev it up. Try cleaning the filter inside the carb. Also test the fuel selector valve to see if it is clogged up.

thanks bill, the fuel selector valve is one thing i hadn't even thought about. evewrything else is good, i'll let you know if it helps sincerely hendog

bill; the fuel valve was clear and clean,could there be something in the tank only letting a certain amount of fuel pass,also is there a check valve in the tank which could be bad. still idles only,falls on its face when you give it throttle

what kind of shape are your carbs in? Try taking the fuel inlet line off the carb and running a line out of a bottle to the inlet fitting and then running it and see if it does any better if so you need to trace down the problem with your fuel lines if no improvement then maybe you need to give some attention to you carbs.

That usually means the diaphram is stuck or the jet block is clogged up or the filter is full inside of the carbureator.
