Try M&M Marine Salvage in Woodland California 888 802 7828. Mitchell has lots of used parts.

Is it a two wire connector speedo sending unit or a three wire sendor ?

thanks bill wish your shop was closer:( But I like to work on things, but not carbs. I guess I will be stuck overhauling mine. Tried starting it with low fuel. The engine seemed like it tried to start. I filled the tank and waa laaa it started but idile was a little ruogh. think the filter is clogged and may be some varnish has set in.
Bill (or anyone) do you think I should just set it in solvent or do I need to boil the carbs as well? I also got a question to the tach meter to use will a regular 2-4, 6-8 work or do I need a specific type?

BTW the red light stays on because the magnetic switch in the fuel tank is stuck. Do I need to order a new one or can I fix it? Behind a glass tube and the magnets on the float causes them to touch giving the bars on the fuel gauge (digital).

Once diassembled. I use spray cleaner and a small wire brush to clean really filty or corroded carbs. Do not dip the carbs in carb cleaner, unless they are totally disassembled, which is not usually necessary. Replace the gaskets, diaphrams, needle and seat, orings and spary through the two jets. This is all that is necessary if the throttle shafts are not wornout from corrosion.

You need an inductive tach that will work on a two clyinder motor. The cheapest one is The tiny Tach, about $55.00. Or, if you have an inductive timing light with a built-in tach, you can use that.

Thanks bill wish you could do it! I hate carbs because they are very time consuming and touchy, I can do anything with electronics and motors but carbs I just seem kinda delicate for me. Pray for me and hope I get it right the first time. :emoticonc I would hate to have to tear into it because I had some extra parts. lol big fingers small parts. Just kidding will let you all know how it goes.

Btw I did alot of reserch and study too different jet ski problems and symptons and how ironic that alot of the fixes are bad fuel ,fuel filters, air leaks, which all have to do with the carbs..... hhhhmmm If i would just have read the service manuel on the carbs I would have rebuilt the **** thing before putting them on the new motor. What a noob mistake. **** Hope to hear from ya soon bill,

Bill my speedo meter is three wire and if you find one ** welll let say I will pay ya for the time and effort as well, thanks for all the help and you too frank!
