    Hey Bill when I put my key on my 96 xp you get to churps right! Ok Here is my question when I put the key on now what would cause it to curp 2x's and then after that go to a solid beeeeeeeeeep noise! It will even stay on after it is started!

    over heat sensor is bad . best guess without looking anyhow :-)

      I had the same problem, after much troubleshooting, it turned out that the multifunction gauge was going bad. Replaced it, solved the problem. Are there any lights that stay on in the guage?

        Angel, replace the heat sensor on the head.

        I cannot think of any lights that are susposed to stay on, unless you are low on fuel, oil or their sending units need replacing.

            Also no lights on just that freakin anoying beeeep noise! But I will not second Guess Bill So I will just go by the part.

              Hey Bill Also my Brother wants to know if he can get a fuel rail for a 951 off you also the reed spacers and new reeds! Also how much would you charge him to Put the engine in and make sure everything is ok with it.                 A simple test for the heat sensor is to unplug the wire wire from it. Does it stop beeping? If it doesn't you have another problem.
