    burned the front piston any way to tell how and best course of action to fix this. can just piston be replaced or the other needs to be done and the cranck too.

    you need to pull the head and cyl to inspect the damage then deside if you need to do just the one piston or more .

        On 1993 657 engines we always need to check the crankshaft to see if both pistons are exactly 180 degrees apart, as those 1993 cranks are subject to twisting.
