  • A Handful of n00b Questions, 96 Xp 787

Hello all, first post here and I have a few noob questions.

I recently picked up a 96 XP that needed some work done to it. My first question: Is there a way to run this craft on a stand with a flush kit of some sort? Did I miss the fitting to do this, if in fact, it is already there?

Second question, The hull is in pretty decent shape, couple of scuffs here and there, but what can I do about cleaning the algae off of the hood. After a good bit of detailing on this boat, anybody have any good tips and products for a wax or other methods of protection?

I am sure I will have some more questions, but I dont mean to bombard(ier?) you guys on first try. I hope to have fun out on the water in this forum, I have gleened much info over the past couple of days.
    Thanks in advance,
    -Jason

the flush kit is under the seat , it should have a red cap on it . you will need a hose that goes on your garden hose . remember you MUST start the ski first then turn on the water , then turn off the water then the ski . to run it for 15 sec or so you dont need to use any water . there is no water pump to worry about but you dont want to run it to long as it will get hot .

    any wax will work

Ok, I guess I did miss it, Thank you!

And I guess I can break out the buffer and get the hull waxed nice and shiny.
