My GTI will accell to top speed then drop back to half speed. I have checked the cards and cleaned them,It has comp of 155 psi on both cyl. has new plugs. Could it be a rev limiter,and how can I check it?

No it is not your rev limiter. You did change the internal carb filters, right? Try changing the fuel selector valve and do a pressure test on the whole fuel system to insure that you are not just sucking air somewhere.Bill O'Neal <br>

Thanks for the help. I pulled up the blow up view of the carb.found the filters, I will pull the carbs this weekend and check them. thanks...Comment

IT RUNS GREAT!!!!. i rechecked and found the filters pluged.We recleaned the fuel lines and It runs great. THANKS...Comment
