  • 787 motor question

I see a used Sea Doo motor listed on the net that is supposed to be in good running condition. It's a 787 and this guy said compression is 175 on 1 cylinder and 170 on the other. Does this sound correct or is this possible? I've only heard of a maximum on these being 165psi. Also wouldn't this be too much of a difference between the two cylinders? (needing to be rebuilt)

That's not a stock number, perhaps he shaved the head. 5psi isn't a big deal between them. 10 would be.

What do you think would be a fair price to pay for a used motor like this? Appreciate your reply on this!
