oil pump ?

I have question about oil injection. If the carbs are stopped up and running lean would the plugs be black from oil since the pump keeps injecting oil???? and there no gas to mix with it.
Just thinking

I think black plugs means that it is running too rich. Not sure what colour the plugs would be for just oil getting injected.
