  • SBT Alignment tool

I purchased the SBT alignment tool and finally got a chance to use it but I have a delima. I can't figure out how to get around the shaft assembly on a 98 XPL. The tool didn't come with instructions and I can't figure this one out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The shaft assembly comes out for alignment.

Ok, is there an easy way to remove the shaft? Does the seat mount have to be removed to do this?

Thanks. I'm really getting to hate Seadoo's now. Like everything else, they never design for the fellow that has to work on one. Common sense would be to make the shaft assembly hole in the center large enough to accommodate the alignment tool.
