'99 GTX Limited Lanyard

My key works great and is DESS compliant. The problem is the rope on the lanyard is frayed and falling apart. Can I get just the rope part of the lanyard replaced?

Also, I ran my ski for the first time this weekend. It didn't seem to start up pressing just the start button. I had to give it a little gas while pressing the button. the ski ran fantastic and idled well, just the starting was interesting. Is this something that I should worry about?

Dont know what to tell u bout the lanyard but if its the first time of the weekend dont worry about the gas i have to give my ski gas the first several times i start it a season.
