VTS Drawing on the battery

I have a faulty VTS module and believe it is drawing on the battery all of the time. Pulling the 7.5A fuse should stop the draw while I wait for the new module to come in correct?

Notorious problem with the boot tearing must have let water in. Ordered new boot and plastic clamps along with the VTS module.

Yes, remove the fuse.
