the ski flashes up 12v low all the time. tried it with new fully charged batteries but still the same. is there any thing else to check and could you confirm the regulator is inside the mpem? thanks.also my ground broke and new one i on the starter could that be a problem?

Fix the ground wire first, maybe the low voltage signal will go away. Yes, the rectifier is built into the MPEM on that model.Bill O'Neal <br>

ive checked and it only prodiuces 12.4 volts when running with two earths.does this mean the rectiier is dead?Comment

It means something in the charging system is amiss. That includes the 15 amp fuse, the MPEM and the stator. One or more of those items is bad.
I would check it in this order,
