After having my '95 spx for only a couple of months now,I am ready to move up to something a little newer and faster. Stoped by the local shop and he had last years model XPDI in stock. Any thoughts on this ski, good or bad? Thanks for any info.:emoticont

Re: '04 xp di
Turns great, jumps well, goes fast, is reliable and a whole lot of fun for a one person type watercraft, although with practice can be fun with two up on it.
It is considered a sporty model. Top speed around 61 mph.
It is not for towing or cruising around with old people.Bill O'Neal <br>

Re: '04 xp di
Hey Bill (ment to be funny) Define "Cruising around with old people" I am 42 yrs young and ride my 95 XP like It's the last day I will ever ride It. As far as I am concerned there Is only 2 speeds Idle and WOT. I love to take people for a ride that have never rode before then when I get tired of them I just through them off. The balance sucks but when you get going they end up screaming In your ear. Just a lightened note.:emoticont

Re: '04 xp di
It's not a stable ski, but it's everything else everybody said, fast, sporty, jumps good, manouverable, etc.
On smooth water it will pull 63 or so and walk away from the 96/97 GSX's I ride with. In chop, They can still WOT, but I have to slow down to avoid loosing control.
85% of the time I prefer my XP to my '97 GSX though.
I have a '03 XP di ('04 just has new stickers), and ride it in the open ocean.Devin Noel
