I have a '99 GTX Limited. I need to increase the idle which is very easy to do. My shop manual tells me to check the oil pump setting as well to make sure that it is still properly lined up to regulate the amount of oil at different throttle settings.
Is this a step I really need to complete, or is it just good practice? I would think worst case would be me going through more oil, which wouldn't kill me. Let me know some thoughts...
