  • Mechanical question

    How hard are these things to work on, tear down, setup, etc ? similar to motorcycles or a lot worse ? i do mostly bikes right now, but i am looking to get into fixing up burnt skis this winter , any input is appreciated ! :D

    I would much rather work on my motorcycle. But they are not bad to work on. There is some special knowledge needed. Most of it can be found here. The big down side is access to working on the engine in the ski.

      As a technician and instructor, what I see as the most common and repeated mistakes made on any brand of PWC, can be avoided if you..........."Use your brains, not brawn" Think the complete job through, it will keep you out of most difficulties. Pay attention to the details, read the service manual instructions thoroughly BEFORE doing the job!
