Bill I am the 1 posting about my 96 GSX..Now that i remember,the thing had 1 rave valve spring missing,so i took the 1 out of the water regulator,and put it in the rave valve.I used a spring close to the same size and strength of the 1that came out of it.could this be the reason my ski is only tacking only 1500 out of the water now instead of 3000 like it was before?

The water regulator spring is 5 times as strong as a rave valve spring. But that is not keeping your motor from idling at 3000 rpm.
