96 xp boogs down

96 xp stock. its boogs down when i first start it. if i tuen it off then on a couple of times and punch it its ok. when it start working good its stays runing good. help

Replace the spark plugs, clean fuel filters including those in the carburator.

Sounds like maybe it is running too rich? It could have leaky needles and seats inside the carbs, causing a rich condition, which causes a bog on accelleration until it cleans the unburnt fuel off of the sparkplugs, then runs good again until you shut it off and it all starts over again. Is that what it is doing?

bill its wierd not like a rich boog it feels as if its an ignition problem. if i turn it off floor it, then turn it off again floor it again it runs ok.

I do not know the cure for that problem.
