2001 gts no spark

[speed is everything]

It has a new coil already and i have the stator out. How do i test the stator is my question no one seems to know when i call the dealerships. Thanks. :)

first you should check the ground wire from the mag plug to the cover . my service manual is at the shop maybe somone here will have it handy to tell you what the ohms reading will be . just check for the dead short untill then .

should this be grounded to the battery or the stator cover.

needs to be in the ski to test it so you can crank the engine
