1998 twin engine 787 sea doo challenger 1800 first time asking for advice. on both motors there is a leak on the upper part of the exhaust manifold but after the 4 allen key bolts where the two bib pies meet with gasket. (u know the big pipe) but on the under side, on those little welded nipples you know the ones about 1 inch diameter very weird, i repared it on one of the motors about 4 mos. ago with a penny and some jb weld it worked for a while but the pressure eventually has just pushed its way through. i can't really aford to buy new ones and it really doesnt need them i was wondering is there any other special type of putty or hardener that would fix these wholes there not very big maybe 1/8th to 1/4 inch not even, but the pressure makes it squirt like a hose you know, and my bildge can't keep up. --------another problem-------also the gas gauge is doin funny stuff (standing still docked of coarse), like telling me full tank at one point then half tnk then quarter. like yesterday i ran out fo gas and it said it had a quarter tank. i know i should always check myself but what could it be the gauge or the float because that buzzer was going off but of coarse i ignored it because the gauge said i had a quater tank. also if the buzzer was workin i think it could b the gauge because it was sayin quarter u you even when i had completely run out of gas tanx guys

Re: exhaust manifold leak
the leaks are common , i think BOM desided to use the thinnest plug they could find to weld there , you can do one of 2 things . quick steel it or remove the pipe and have it welded both work fine if you quick steel it make sure you clean it well .PRIDE IN SERVICE
